Wow...I am actually struggling here trying to quantify and qualify how to answer this.
Well, I live in a city filled with some of the world's best art. And I once saw an exhibit of breast cancer survivors, some with full mastectomies, black, white, young, old, male and female.
And it moved me, as I currently have a very young friend in her own battle. We went together. Although I know about the severity of breast cancer, I never quite knew how it affected our communities...our lives...all of us. I was moved to tears, and it brought home..live and in full living color, the affect of this disease on us all. It showed me just how small I am...it humbled me.
