Well we have two male tabby's, two years apart, and non-related.

They both LOVE it when you swing them in anything that has handles. If the bag is laying on the floor they will crawl in and lay there until you swing him. They act like they really enjoy it.

I think that if they didnt like it they wouldnt keep crawling back into the bag. If I'm swinging one of them, the other will awake from his nap and come over so he can be next. WEIRD I KNOW.
Has anyone heard of doing this to their cat?

I wrote about this a while back in an answer. My cat is obsessed with plastic bags. The second you put one down he has to get in it and sometimes falls asleep, but he also likes being carried round in it too!
Glad to hear he's not the only loony cat out there....lol

My sister in law has a cat that loves to play in a paper bag and be pulled around in a wagon or slid around the house in a laundry basket.

First of all, I wouldn't let any animal near a plastic bag. They can die! My cats are the same, they love the noise and the feeling of plastic bags, but I immediately remove it and put a paper Trader Joe's bag instead, and they seem to love that too. My kids carry them and gently swing them around...It's the best.

My cat would love it when I do that to him as well. He grew out of it. I think that it has to do with how the mother cat used to carry him around by the scruff of the neck, and hey, as long as you all enjoy it, why not. If they didn't enjoy it they would soon let you know.
