She is a straight A third grader. Well behaved! A true blessing.
The only problem is she is so hyper and wiggly. I find my self asking is she has to "potty" or I will crack jokes like "maybe thats why your so skinny" I do not know if this is an issue or all eight year olds cant sit still?

I can always count on the same handful of kids in my 3rd grade class to have their butts anywhere but in their seats when I'm teaching. Some kids that age just find it difficult to sit still. Since you're concerned (nothing wrong with that), a phone call to your daughter's physician should answer any question you may have. Who knows, you might be onto something...Or you might just have an antsy kid. :)

She probably just has a lot of energy. Kids need a lot of exercise after school, and if they don't get it, they have trouble sitting still and paying attention when they should. I used to be that way when I was younger, my parents wanted to put me on medication to calm me down but a school nurse suggested putting me in an after school sport. Worked like a charm.

OK for starters, don't even entertain the idea of ADD. She does just fine in the learning dept. wich is proof that this is not it.
Your child is naturally energetic and needs an outlet for this energy. Try increasing her level of outdoor activity. Perhaps a sport. Swimming is a very busy sport. So is soccer.

she could just have a lot of energy and no way to burn it off, get her into some activitys after school and find other things to keep her busy. If this doesnt work, maybe she could just be hyper, or have some kinda add.

who wasn't antsy when they were eight years old? she'll grow out of it. add and adhd are often what people think this "antsy-ness" is, but she's eight, if it isn't a problem then don't worry about it, she'll grow out of it.
