After several emails, phone calls and letters i still have yet to recieve w-2 from employer. One email was replied nad i was told the GM forwarded it to the person in charge, I have yet to hear response back from that person. I am now writing an email demanding that my w2 be mailed and recieved by me or a place where i can pick it up.. what are the laws regarding the w2 be sent out in a timely manner? any ideas on wording for this letter? This is also NOT a small company, it is for a minor league baseball team. and you would think they would be on top of this

These answers are primarily correct. Another option, if you do not have your last pay stub, you may also go to your social security office and ask for an income statement. And yes, they must be sent out by Jan. 31st.

call the Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-829-1040 and file a W2 complaint. They wil take a report and send you a form that you can use as a subsitute, you will need your last paycheck stub when you call, along with the name, address and phone# of the employer and what dates you worked for them

If I remember correctly all w-2's must be sent out by Jan 31st. It is possible that they mailed it to the wrong address, if you have moved. You should be able to call them and get a duplicate, obviouslly you've tried that.

Well, I would just go there to the accounting department and demand it. If you have your last paycheck stub then try to use it... and have them reported because you should have gotten it the first week of February.
