To make a call outside the US you first need to 011 followed by the code for the country you're dailling - in this case 44 to dial the UK.
Next you need to dial the area code, the area code for Aviemore is 1479. If you've been given a number that starts with 01479 then ignore the 0 - that's only used when dialling from elsewhere in the UK.
Finally dial the 6 digits of the number in Aviemore.
If the number you're dialling is 123456 then the full number you'd dial would be 011 44 1479 123456.

You need to dial 011, then the country code(pick one of these) UK 44, Glasgow 141), then the phone number you are trying to reach. If that number has a 0 in the area code, don't dial it. For ex. if the number there is 04431-1234, you'd dial 011-141-4431-1234 to reach Glasgow. Also, make sure you know how much your telephone company charges per minute. Mine charged me $1.82 which is ridiculous. Now I have a calling card that charges me less than 2 cents per minute.

dial 0 11 44 then your number, dropping the first 0.
so if the number you were calling was 01234 567 890 you would dial 0 11 44 1234 567 890.
Hope this helps :)

First, you need to find out the country code you are calling, usually is 3 digits, then the rest of the phone number...so you would dial
1, country code, area code, phone number.
Good Luck!!
