Bristish Airways has the best translantic airplane food...

I have had decent experience with airplane food, there was only one airline, Biman Airlines, which was absolutely horrible. I'm not a very picky eater, but this was miserable, chances are you won't take this airline because of their limited Asian service, but if you do, make sure you bring your own snack, or suffer with the nastyness that awaits! Whew!

The only food I have gotten on a plane for the last few years has been pretzles or peanuts. Domestic flights in coach have very limited amenities.

You know what, I do. There's something very wonderful about steam-heated food at 30,000 feet with that recycled dead air, the scotch smell on the woman next to me as maul what I can only assume is Spanish rice.

Thai Air (Thailand's airline) has really good food, and their coffee is wonderful.
The German airline (Sorry, I forgot the name.) has great food and their service is quick.
Horizon always serves Starbuck's coffee and snacks on their Vancouver to Seattle flight. ( I don't know about there longer flights.) And I have to say that their service was GREAT!!! They really made me feel comfortable every time I flew with them.
