When you feel you're not WORKING to make it work.
Both partners are still WANTING to make sure the other is comfortable and happy.
When this becomes more of an obligation, then it's suffering.
One party will begin investing more than the other, thus pulling more weight to continue. Then comes resentment, etc...

When I can be absolutely myself with that person and know that they'll love me anyway. As in, I can be sick, or moody, or filthy, etc etc. and not feel conscious about it at all!
