to me commitment is being somewhere simply because you want to be...no commitment can be greater than that...no expectations or obligations...just the freedom to be yourself where you want to be when you want to be..............and love is an energy between 2 people...each person you love is different to the last because your connection is different and is neither exclusive to one person nor the same for different people...;0)

Well commitment for me is putting up with the bad stuff as well as the good as much as you can. Everyone has bad points, and if you can put up with them (provided they aren't really bad), then you can truely commit to a person.
Love to me is mostly a feeling. When you're with the person you love it should be pure contentness. When they're not there, you should miss them, even if you know where they are and how long they will be gone for.
Of course, everyone has a different idea of what love and commitment are, but that's what it means to me at least.

Marriage without divorce is commitment.
The idea of love is spread into so many areas, it's hard to describe. True Love is what is described in 1 Corinthians 13. Real love, the love God intended is everlasting, and commitment is easy with that kind of love. Good question. God bless.

commitment for me is ............ to do as i said i would as best as i can (i am a perfectionist (not regarding spellings) so i Will most likely never stop unless i am told to)
love is the same as friendship but at different levels ie if you love someone as a friend you don't say i love you to them now do you ... but you do love them but as a friend
now if you love someone as more than a friend you tell them (if you can bring your self to them)
but it means something different saying i love you to a gf or bf than to a mum dad sister or brother
