Yes, I have noticed.
That's why my family and I do not eat in those places.
We got tired of getting the "stomach flu" after every visit.
Ugh.

YES! It freaks me out. If you want some sliced cheese at the deli do they clean the bloody roast beef off that slicer before they slice the Swiss?
My favorite is when you are out to eat and they bring your drink to you with the straw already IN the glass. Most people have filthy hands, touch that straw then put it right into your drink. Eww. A straw needs to be wrapped until it reaches my table. Or when you ask for bottled water and it's already open when they bring it to you? Did they fill it with toilet water or what?
Most pizza places are nasty as hell, and yeah they handle money, answer the phone, use the mop and also use the restroom without washing their hands THEN they make your pizza. Ick.
You know how you always hear about people of cruises getting sick. Like a ship full of people with an outbreak of that god awful stomach bug? ALL of that is from not washing thier hands after they poop! Is that the nastiest?
And what about people that only ever use Purell? Purell isn't going to get that giant hunk of feces out from underneath your fingernail, Einstein.
Must go. I have to sanitize this computer now. Must wipe down any keys I have touched to type words about filth. Get me the Clorox wipes!!

Oh yeah, I've seen that a lot. It's really low status jobs, and a lot of the workers just don't care. You are going to get dirty doing that kind of work, but they have to use gloves, tongs, keep their hair out of the food and keep their work areas reasonably clean and safe.
I used to work in restaurants when I was young and I hated it. My clothes got really dirty, I couldn't help that very much, but I wouldn't deliberately give customers food that had been handled improperly. I once had a manager tell me to take bread out of a trash can and so the waiters could serve them to customers because we had run out, and I refused to do it.

I agree with you ,I have seen some rank thing ,It is the manger should set the cleanness of their staff, if you do not speak up nothing will change, You can do it by calling and just leave them a message or do what I did stop eating where the crew is not clean I care about my body to much

I see that sort of thing all the time, usually its a fast food worker trying to do their jobs efficiently, but the speed required to serve food is so demanding....that sanitation requirements fall by the way side, and or not trained properly, or not trained in food handling at all.

Yes. Did you know that MRSA can be transmitted this way? By not washing hands? Think twice about where you eat out at.
