I heard about a flower which when put into milk, turns the latter into yogurt. Is it true? What is its name?

Or is there any alternate commercial product?

Thank you for helping me out :)

Not sure about a flower, but I think you can buy yogurt starter at natural/health food stores. Myself, I use a bit of plain yogurt with live cultures as the starter. If you use some of your homemade yogurt as a starter, think over time it gets weaker, so you end up with thinner yogurt. I just use store-bought each time (no health food stores near me). Hope this helps.

I guess it's a bacteria by the name of Lactobacillus which converts milk into yogurt.
It is introduced into the milk which is then left undisturbed for a few hours-about 3-4.
Then, the flavouring is done.
