This is because of Princess-syndrome. Every little girl is taught that they are a princess, so they all want their knight in shining armor to come up and save them. They shall save them into this world of bliss just like in movies, cartoons, romance novels, and tv shows. The problem is the feelings die, and this is why most girls break up with their bfs. If a relationship is built on feelings, it will die eventually.
Anyway, the perfect life seems perfect, it is just you are so enamored with your feelings that you miss what is going around you. My whole world could be tumbling down, but Johnny loves me and that is all that matters! These girls need to get a grip and stop going on emotion trips, lol! Not many guys are great at romance, and your knight in shining armor might come with a few kinks and some missing armor.
Just my two cents...

First of all noone has a perfect life, I don't care if you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth you still have issues to deal with! But noone can make someone else's life perfect it's up to the individual . But you can have people in your life that do not contribute to what you may think life should be.

I think it has a lot to do with out dated ideals that are taught when girls are growing up. Some women don't get that you have to create your own happiness before you could ever be happy with someone else, otherwise your partner will always fall short and relationships would be doomed.

because they're ridiculous!!!! They've obviously watched TOO MANY romance movies. It's embedded into their heads that, that is how its supposed to be. Insted of seeing first hand that women need to be independent, and be creating a perfect life of their OWN before they meet a man.

Any woman should have herself together, love herself, be happy with herself and her life before she finds the man to compliment it.

A combination of Hollywood movies and Mills & Boons novels. Plus, no one has a perfect life. And a girl has to dream, doesn't she?

That's because most women don't know how to nurture themselves, they assume that a man is needed to do it for them.
