Vengeance is God's because only He can show his wrath in a fair and righteous way. He does it in a perfect way.
We do it out of anger-filled hatred, wishing suffering on the one that we seek revenge.

Karma has nothing to do with revenge. It is the balancing of one's OWN destiny. Your bad actions MUST be balanced with good ones for you to grow in spirit.
To take vengeance on someone would be a BAD action. It would unbalance your karma.
If you are monotheistic, you let God (Father, Yahweh or Allah) take care of the revenge. You trust Him to do it up brown.
If you are Hindu or Buddhist, you let the jerk who done you wrong alone. Negative Karma will take care of him. No need to give it a shot at you!

First of all, you are mixing different religious schools of thought here. On one hand you are asking about the point of Karma which is a Hindu and Buddhist belief. Then you ask about what the Bible says which is a Judeo-Christian belief. Hindu/Buddhist beliefs are very different than Judeo-Christian beliefs and the two schools of thought cannot be mixed or you will get confused like you are now.

I think Karma is like "what goes around comes around". If you take revenge you have to be clever and think about the consequence if it does come back to you with Karmic Backlash. I do not believe you should become a defenceless, you should defend yourself and perform justice (revenge) if needed. I don;t believe you should wait for the universe or god to fight your battels for you.

Because God is the only one who can fully justify vengence. We should not throw the first stone right. So vengence is not ours, until we are perfect then let us judge. But until then leave judging and vengence to God.

I believe that for every bad deed you do, it'll come back, three times worse. Plus, holding a grudge against someone is like drinking poison and hoping that your enemy suffers for it. Its basically pointless. Anger never does anything but bring more anger.
Basically, what you should do is get over it and continue living your life. Don't sink to their level, two wrongs don't make a right, and all that jazz. What goes around comes around, after all.

We are in charge of our own destinies. Karma is a lesson in not vengeance but balance. We are not standing in line, one behind the other. We are holding hands in a big circle, what you pass to the left comes back to the right.
"Vengeance is thine" refers to "vengeance is YOURS" not mine... A phrase learned in AA "Thy will, not my will". Vengeance is god's. Not mine to give out.

The Bible says that to try and stop crazy religious people from blowing up buildings, and ridiculing Gays, and picketing abortion clinics.
But not many remember that part of the bible.
