Try sipping some ginger ale. Also, if want to try and eat something, go for something really mild like plain bread or crackers. Applesauce is also pretty good too. Chewable Pepto works pretty well to ease the discomfort. Don't let yourself get dehydrated, because then your body will take longer to heal. Hope you feel better soon!

ginger is a natural anti-emetic (nausea) so ginger-ale might help. try to stick to clear liquids (anything you can see through) then gradually add bland foods when you are ready (when the nausea subsides. dairy absolutely last, it's hardest to digest...you want to be completely recovered before having dairy products. most importantly, make sure you are getting fluids in and not puking a lot...that's when it's time to see a doctor. feel better.

One of my close friends told me that if you suck on a peppermint disc, the little red and white ones, that'll help with the nausea. I've done it before, and it really does help. Everytime you think you're going to throw up, just suck on the mint.
