I bought a 1995 Plymouth grand voyager 3 weeks ago and have had nothing but problems since. The supertine belt broke the day I drove it off the lot and then a week later it wouldnt start (no warning) and now it seems as the transmission wont shift. I dont have anyother transportation and I was wondering since the dealership will not repair it (still under 30 days) if I could get my money back and get something else or if i can make them get me a good car.?

Lemon laws vary from state to state. In NY the law says the dealer has to try to repair under warranty (lenght varies). 4 failed attempts to repair or out of service for more than 30 days may invoke the law.

But, if the vehicle is older and/or high mileage a warranty may or may not be in effect. You'll have to check with someone in your state.

I don't know where you live but if it is in Texas then you are probably out of luck. Most used cars are sold "as is" so you won't get any help unless you can prove fraud. That is very difficult to do so I don;t think you have much of a chance to get your money back Sorry.

Doubt that we can help you here. Most lemon laws are for new vehicles. Even then, it has to fit certain requirements.

In Georgia, the lemon law applies only to NEW vehicles.

Sounds like you got ripped off!!!!!!! Id fight like hell, if you had problems right off the bat, they were out to make some money, they knew there was something wrong with the vehicle!!!
