I went to a Baptist church in Cardiff (1989-1995) and at the time they had well attended evening services. Also, other traditional churches (CofE, Catholic, Methodist, Baptist) have done away with it - even those who have had poor evening attandances for years

I have seen a decline over the years also. We have changed the time of our evening services from 7pm to 5pm on Sunday. This certainly did help a lot. There are a number of our school aged youngsters that have difficulty getting up for school on Monday morning otherwise. The attendance picked up and we have had great results with it. There are still those who are not attending the evening service for one reason or another but it did help. This would be a good suggestion for others in that situation. We have a great mix of older members, young members, marrieds with babies, and middle-aged couples. I feel really good about our group at this time. We use ONLY the BIBLKE to make decisions of Faith and Worship from. Have a great day and a wonderful weekend.
Thanks,
Eds

Usually that is an indication that Jesus took the lamp away. That means a sleeping church.

The Pastor needs to preach the love of God and faith and praise.

There are many churches that have 3+ services on Sunday and weekly services. I go to one. River of Life Fellowship in Kent WA.

And this Eater we have a brand new play,"Jesus", that has better than ever props, etc. Wow things happening it it. Everyone is excited and expecting the best Easter play River of Life ever had. This play goes on for 5 evenings in a row. The Wednesday night one is a practice & not open to the public.

My church has a evening service its a nominal baptist church in fact it has three services two in the morning and one in the evening. In Britain they has been a decline in attendance of mainstream churches like the CofE but there is a increase in the Evangelical and Free churches thanks to Alpha courses . But this nation could do with a revival because this nation is in darkness and we need a light.

The Church I attend stopped because the turn out was so poor. It is a small Church and it just didn't make sense for the pastor to come if no one else was there.

Its sad, but many are compromising on this. I shopped around until I found one that has three services a week. Pray for revival.
