Not sure what the question is here? Are you asking if they go together? Well... in that case no I don't think so. Chips are more of a good beer kinda food. However, if you want to dip your chips in champagne, well I couldn't tell you, I have never tried it, but you never know, it could be good. Now if you are wondering whether or not there is Champagne made from chips, or vice versa... No I don't think so.

Sounds like how parties at my place used to end, having drunk everything else in the house we'd start on a bottle of champagne that was being saved for a special occasion and order whatever food we could walk to or get delivered

Me and my mate have been to the chippy and then drank pink champagne with our food because i had nothing else to drink in the house.
Dont see why anybody shouldnt.
