Okay so Peter Pan and Great Value (Wal-Mart Brand) peanut butter has been linked to salmonella, check the lid of your peanut butter if the code starts with 2111 Do Not Eat It!!! If anyone has eaten any of it keep the jar so that if you get sick it can be tested. You usually get sick within 24-72 hours after eating it. Symptoms include headache, stomache ache or cramps possibly a fever.

Thank You for the information.I checked my cupboard and found an unopened jar of Peter Pan peanut butter with the code 2111.I'm glad I found out before I started eating it.I called the store I bought it from and they told me I could bring it in for a refund or exchange it for another brand.

Returned our two jars last night to Wal-Mart. Stood in line for 30 minutes waiting for all the people to cash their paychecks. Was not a fun experience.

yep we had one of the 2111 jars and so did my boyfriend...thank goodness neither of us have gotten sick
