Medical marijuana. Everything the US gov't says about this time-tested natural, herbal medicine is a LIE. The pharmaceutical giants have the politicians in their back pocket in order to protect their multi-billion dollar earnings. Imagine being able to grow your own multi-purpose medicine--God forbid!
Actually God BLESS (see Genesis 1:29)

I had a toothache that lasted for 3 weeks, and I finally got it to go away. Here is the tips I tried that worked for me. I did the rinsing your mouth with salt water, just make sure the water is as warm as you can stand it and mix just regular table salt and rinse in your mouth and spit out, repeat a few times, this always helped when my tooth was really throbbing. Also, try the teabag idea, any kind of teabag, run it under hot water for a few minutes first cause you need it to soften up, it helps quite a bit. The main thing that worked for me was these two medicines I bought. First of all, there was a toothache kit at the drugstore, CVS, it has a red cross on the front and a tiny cottenballs, and a small container of liquid medicine. Let me warn you, this stuff stinks first of all, but it does burn if you get it on your tongue or gums. It has tweezers in the kit, and you pick up the cottenball and dip it in the medicine and try to squeeze alittle in a sink to drain it alittle, and then put in your mouth. If you have ever put orajel or amebsol in your mouth, you know it makes you drool and you have to spit, this stuff does the same. It will burn the sides of your mouth when you spit, but it has cooling effect on your mouth, helps so much, trust me. Also, the other stuff I found to work, which I would swear on now for the rest of my life, because I believe it helped the most, is Oil of Cloves. It took me a few days to find this stuff, no Walmart or drugstores of any kind carry this. I found it at GNC which is like a vitamin kind of store, it was only 6 bucks for a very good sized jar, and I used it just like the other tootache medicine, with a cottonball. I did this for two days, and have had no more problems at all. Good luck, hope one of these tips help you, trust me I know your pain all too well.

Oragel or Ambesol works ok for a little while, you might be able to help it out some by taking some Aleve or Advil or plain aspirin too. The only way I know to get rid of a toothache for good is have it pulled out. It always worked for me. I never liked going to the dentist and I'm so glad I don't have to go anymore.

ive found one called Oragel which is brilliant. It not only anaesthatises (if thats how its spelt) the area, but it also has an antibiotic in it, so if its just a small infection inside the tooth/gum, it should help to alleviate the pain till you can get to a dentist to be seen.

being scared of the dentist myself i have always had to sort it out myself i found the best way is clove oil for instant relief but that can make your face numb and slaver a bit codeine based tablets are good as they block the pain signals to the brain but taking those for along period of time you can build up a immunitty if the tooth is infected then you will need antibiotics i recomend amoxycillin that will get rid of the infection failing that my friend you have to visit the evil dentist man/woman good luck

orajel or anbesol until you can get in to see a dentist.
Maybe you've got something stuck - try flossing & also a warm saltwater rinse too.

Heat up table salt in a pan, pour in a sock, and hold it against your face, be very careful, salt gets really hot. Chow
