I currently use a Fujifilm A345..

http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital/lineup/a345
........

It is an okay camera.. but a little slow.. and not always very clear.
I love to take pictures of my kids.. but the response time from the instant I press the button and the actual time it takes the picture is way to slow.. I miss a lot of great picture moments. The pictures aren't as sharp and clear as I would like them either.

Any recommendations for a better digital camera that is no more than $300?

Thanks!

Check this Casio camera:

Or check some Canon cameras. They are really good.
