First to the person that said the water and sugar scrub tasted good...that's disgusting. Why would you even taste a scrub that's been used to take off dead skin?
Anyhow...there are quite a few actually, and the sugar you use is just your average white, granulated sugar. The honey is any kind you have. I have a store brand one (clover, pure honey) and it works just fine.
1) 1 tsp sugar and 1 tsp honey
2) 1 tsp olive oil and 3 tsp salt
3) 1 tsp honey and 1/8 cup oats (I use the fast cooking 1 minute kind you can get from Quakers and any store brand)
All 3 of these you can use as they are or you can mix the scrubbing ingredients with plain old water, or even some Dove or Oil of Olay bar soap...just lather the soap in your hand first and add the sugar, salt or oatmeal, whichever you choose to use.
I've tried all of these and they all work great. Just make sure, after the 2nd one...the oil will still be on your skin so you will need to wash it off with some soap or cleanser.
I have one more to add...This is something that's used to relieve the redness and bump of a pimple, but you can also use it as a scrub because it's a bit ebrasive. All I have is Bayer (but it's Aspirin anyways), but take a Bayer or a plain Aspirin, put it in your palm or in a lid and drop about 3 drops of water on it. Wait for a few second for it to desolve and then apply this to your face. You may need 2 or 3 pills if you want to do your whole face but it makes a paste. Apply it and let it sit for a minute, then rub it all around (you may need to add more water as it dries quickly). There's no need to chop the pill. Then wash it off. If you have dry or sensitive skin don't let it sit on for a minute, just use right away as a scrub.

Mix about 2/3 baking soda with 1/3 water. Apply and use a washcloth to scrub it in. Rinse off. It's great for getting dead skin out of your b-e-a-utiful face. LOL!

the least expensive and best to use is plain old baking soda!! after you have cleansed your skin, leave the lather/cleanser on your face and pour some baking soda into the palm of your hand; then slowly add warm water, just a few drops at a time, until it forms a paste...gently massage with circular motions, starting at your forehead and working your way all over your face, but gently..do this 3 times, then rinse rinse rinse with COOL NOT COLD or hot water...blot dry then proceed with your next step...do this 2 times a week for oily/combination skin, and once a week for dry skin........your skin will look and feel incredible, & any makeup products you use will go on so much better..and of course don't forget to moisturize!!!!!!!!

To exfoliate:
Regular white sugar
if you find that too rough
plan oatmeal
(I like the sugar best)
for moisturizing:
honey- any honey you have on hand or can buy at the grocery store. Slather it on and leave it for about 10 minutesm rinse woth warm water.

I don't use an exfoliator or scrub, just cleansing was with a muslin cloth, you can buy them from supermarkets in the baby section. Gently rub your face with the cloth while you use a face wash and it does the same thing as an exfoliator, I think it works much better too

This is your face so be gentle. Use baking soda and water for oily skin, baking soda and cooking oil for dry skin. Make a paste and GENTLY rub around. Then rinse. Pat dry. If you use the one with cooking oil wash clean with plain soap and water. Good Luck.
