My tattoos are all color, except one. It seems that on me, yellow and brown have faded some. I have just about every other color on me somewhere. No pink though.........

Good luck.

Well it doesnt really matter what colour you get. Sun exposure is key to fading. A lot of sunscreen everytime you are anywhere near the sun will stop your colours fading. Yellow, Whites, Pinks are pretty subject to fading. Tanning will also change your colours because you tan over the tattoo. Kind of like Tinting the windows on a car with white upholstery. Its not white when you're looking in but its still white underneath. Your tone of skin will also be a factor in colours, some people can hold a white and others it just ends up looking like a flesh tone. Talk with your artist about what colorus work best for you.

Out of the three primary colors, yellow is the weakest and blue is the strongest. Yellow tattooing fades the fastest.

I agree with Blair on the brown fading, too. Browns seem very unstable, likely due to the amount of yellow needed. This is why eyebrow tattooing fades really fast with all the sun exposure to the face.

Blues and reds are better than yellows but in any event, unless you protect it well from the sun, you will see fading.

Depends on the person. it is usually that the colour will brighten after the healing. BUT white ( which is not even a colour)m fades, because it is not used for tattooing, only highlighting, and will fade quickly to basically your skin colour.

I believe it really depends on the individual's skin for most colors. However, I have heard from quite a few people that white is hard to hold. I have blue and purple in mine and it has held great.

actually white tats fade very quick. you have to get em re-done a lot. I think any colour with enough pigment and done right will stay. red probably, but it may appear to fade quicker becuase of red undertones in your skin so i would think a blue or cyan

Depends on your ethnicity. Black fades the quickest on caucasians.

you know, as long asyou dont expose yourself to much to the sun, i think you will be fine, just put some spf on before you tan!
