I live in the Uk, and I'm goign to lanzarote this weekend.
I have european adaptors. I think I've used the straighteners abroad before, but just wanna double check.

Hey, just came across your question whilst scanning through,
in answer to your question your GHD's actually have a foreign plug inside the english plug - just pull it and it's already fixed on to the wire!
I am a hairdresser and i never knew that for a while either, not many people do...
If you have a problem with that you can just use an adaptor, I live in lanzarote actually and the plugs are fine over here!
