losing 7 lbs is easier then most would think, take a look at the food you eat in an average day, add up all the calories, that number, you have to exceed that in calories burned (when doing crunches, one equals about half a calorie) if the number is far too high for you to out burn calories then take a look at what you are eating and substitute some healthier choices, ie, instead of snacking on chips snack on grapes, instead of soda drink milk or water here is a site that has a list of how many calories are in food http://www.annecollins.com/calories/index.htm (if all else fails slim fast optima has very few calories, keeps you feeling full and has all the nutrition you need, drink 2 a day as meals along with exorcises) as for exorcises, buy yourself ddr, it has a workout mode that counts the calories you have burnt, go for a bike ride, there are plenty of ways to keep active in the world
having a goal is the first step to losing weight, good for you and good luck

Half a stone! Im not going to go through the 'its not healthy, dont it' because im sure you have heard it all before, even though it is very true, will come back to that bit!
I wanted the same thing as you once and i did it, about 200 calories a day and exercise but i did certainly suffer. My face which is clear came up in huge red spots, my skin and hair went all flaky, i got the blackest rings under my eyes I looked like death! It was awfull and what made it worse was i done it because i wanted to look good in a dress for a night out, i looked like a freak. Yer i had lost the weight but to look at it was scary, i would of rather had the extra weight and looked clear and healthy.

When you start a diet and exercise program, you tend to lose more on the first week. Eat healthier, drink lots of water, cut out unneeded calories, and start moving.

Don't starve yourself. Don't try to lose it by buying those plastic clothes that make you sweat it off. Also, if you haven't been exercising, don't overdo it. It's best to see a doctor before you start an exercise program.

Also, keep in mind you won't lose a lot every week. If you keep it up, the goal should be 1 to 2 pounds a week after the first week. Be happy if you lose more from time to time, but don't expect it.

Cut down your portions when you eat. Eat 1/2 as what you would normally eat. It will still give you the energy but with losing the weight. Stick to fruits and veggies and water. Exercise too whenever you have time. Just don't sit in front of the TV. It's possible to lose the 7 lbs. Good luck.

As said above, it's unhealthy to lose more than 2 lbs a week, and usually, if you do lose more, you won't keep it off.

My advice, even if you've got a special occasion you want to look really good for, instead of just setting out to lose that amount, is to start a healthy diet, and be sure you're exercising at minimal, 3 days a week, for 30 - 45 minutes a day.

Dont starve yourself, but eat fruit and veg only. You should do some 30 minutes of walking a day during that week also. You will lose that easy. The reason you shouldnt stop eating is because you will slow your motabilism right down and that will cause the fat to go straight to your hips easly later on when you go back to eating yummy food.

Try a detox. Drink lots of green and nettle tea, and lots of water. Combine with loads of fresh fruit and vegetables.
