It depends, I think more than 2 hours a day of intense working out, is too much. But if it's moderate, it should be fine for 2 hours a day.
The body tends to adjust to diet and exercise, which is often why the person stops losing weight, however this often occurs when a person is on one of those 'fad' diets. If you're following a normal, healthy eating plan, meaning still getting enough nutritional value, you shouldn't have that problem. My advice though, is to upgrade. In addition to the treadmill, and walking your dog, try a sport at least 3 x a week for 30-60 minutes a day. Tennis, basketball, swimming, dodgeball, anything that keeps you in an active mode, is good.
Muscle weighs more than fat, so maybe it's just the two balancing out. I'm not a nutritionist, or a dietician, so maybe you should consult one. (If you're still in highschool, try talking to your health teacher, or your PE teacher, they could be of some help, and probably have some great ideas!) Good luck!

Sweety, with as much as you work out, I am surprised that the scale hasn't gone up with muscle mass! Try adding other forms of exercise. Eventually, the body gets kinda used to the routine, and can slow down. Instead of treadmills, use ellipticals, which will work all of your body. Also, try swimming. This way, it is something new, and will help the rest of the body out.

You are doing good exercise. Just need to make sure that you are eating a good diet. Maybe a few weetbix for breakfast, boiled eggs for lunch and some fruit and a chicken salad for dinner :) No oil just stick it in a tea spoon of butter and cook in that. Dont add cheese to the salad and dont add salad dressings either. You should continue to lose about 4 pounds a week with this including your continuous exercise like I did.

that is ok. you have to understand that some athletes will work out all day. so 1.5 hours is minimal. i think the important thing is intensity of the workout. are you getting all you can from it? also, is your workout making you feel sick? can you walk around normally without too much musle soreness so youre walking around like a cowbody on the range? is it interfering with your life? if not, youre doing ok. do you lift weights? that will give you a nice body.

How do you know if you're doing too much? If your workouts suddenly feel harder than usual, or you're losing ground despite the fact that you're working hard, you may be experiencing overtraining. If you're feeling the pain, it's time to do some analysis on your workout routine.

You should be eating healthy rather than dieting. It doesnt sound like you are doing to much but try and vary it a little. It sounds like your body is used to you doing the same thing all the time.

Really it depends on how you feel; if you're feeling really good than you're probably where you're body wants you, if not you might want to step things back.
