I once promised this guy (good friend and work colleague whom I like) that it would be a fun thing, coming to help me assemble IKEA lego. He did come, but considering he said IKEA lego was fun in itself... to cut a long story short, I ended up being too shy to actually give the present since he didn't know about it anyway. I didn't want him to think I was weird... especially if he only liked me as a friend.

However, I think now, I am ready to give the present to him at a time when I invite him out for coffee or something, and tell him I owed it to him from that time he helped me. The present is this: a voucher made by me which says to grant him any wish that I can fulfill.

He is someone I trust enough that I know he won't make any "funny" wishes, if you know what I mean.

If you got such a present, what would you do with it? And what would you think of me?

I think I put conditions on the coupon...
one of which was - must not contradict the bible - so sex is out.

Wish cupons and the like are far better in a solid relationship. Since you don't have that kind of relationship yet... it's pretty wierd, you might chase him off with it or give him the wrong impression. I might suggest Something like CD of his favorite artist, or a plate of his favorite cookies. After you have been in a relationship for a while, then go for the cute cupons.

I would love that gift and probably use it to take you out to dinner, with the hope of something more.

i would think it was very sweet and would have no idea what to redeem it for ---- there are so many "things" he could ask for --- paint a house --- wash a car --- i would never be nasty enough to ask something like that ---- maybe just frame it

I wouldn't give him that present. He might see it as an offer for sex and might think less of you. He may think you are slut ty. No offence or anything, but that is what I would think if a woman gave me that.

Well you wouldn't be able to trust me if you know what I mean.

You should take that condition off and have yourself a wonderful time.
