i am the shadow-like figure, ready to jump if necessary.i know the time is a great healer, but now it moves too slowly.
days before, i left my full washing machine
just to join his country ride invitation.....many a time, i catch myself laughing for no real reason, just to make him feel at ease......and to open himself.....

It's hard to give advice when we don't know why he's heart-broken. Please explain.

oh dear - try and encourage him to go out more and if he won't then get him involved in stuff in the home. He needs distraction. Be a listener for him, but don't interfere and try and 'fix' things - we all have to go through this pain at some time in our lives - it will get better and the sun will shine on him again. Remind him of good times and make sure he knows he is loved and cared for and that one day he will find love again. Its all about learning.

Heart-brokenness is something everyone in life has to deal with sometime. It is painful and it feel humiliating. He needs time to deal with his emotions and I thing you shouldn't poke him too much right now in moving on. Everybody has his/her own time dealing with it, when he realizes, she wasn't worthwhile being with for the rest of his life and he can get better(which he probably doesn't want to see right now), he'll move on, but give him the time he needs to deal with it and his cheer fullness will return.

Without knowing the details, it's hard to give good advice. All I can say is, be there for him. Show him you love and care for him.
