one by now?

He gave it to me on Valentine's Day, I got all excited jumping up and down, then I turn the beautiful teddy bear around and it's MISSING AN EYE! He saw the shocked look on my face,

He apologized, said he noticed it while he was at the check-out line, but didn't want to lose his spot in line!

He "claimed" he'd exchange it the next day, yeah probably his plan to get it half price .. you think he did this on purpose? to save money?

It's been two days now, and he has not mentioned returning it yet.

He's got nowhere to go!!! He's laid off from work, spaced out in front of video games!

Oh, no, he's not 18 by the way, 30!!!

Is it just me, or is a one-eyed teddy bear a bit morbid and creepy? It's supposed to be a romantic gift.

What should I do with it, and him?

Are you specific that he rather offered it on the shop and that it is not purely an previous teddy undergo he picked up from a thrift shop? that isn't be the factor nevertheless. in case you like the teddy undergo then you rather can purely purchase 2 eyes (look on ebay interior the doll making section) and replace them. a minimum of he tried to get you a modern. i'm specific distinctive boyfriends/husbands available convienently "forgot" Valentine's Day. i'm greater in contact approximately him being 30 and not having a activity! How long has he been laid off? If an prolonged time, then you rather might desire to think again if he's the "suitable" one.

Definitely demand he do something with that one eyed bear! I would forgive him at first and say it's alright, because atleast it's the thought that counts. But if he's just layin around doin his own thing and not helping out with the bear as he said he would? I'd be a little upset with him. I'd make him run to the store and do something. But, if you don't want to cause any conflicts or you feel as if you'd upset him or something, maybe keep it. It is the thought that counts. He got you a cute V-day bear. However...with one eyes? Hmm...what's goin on...

mayb he didnt want to lose his spot in line, depends on what store he got it from, if its like a BJs the he might of lost his spot, but the wife should come first especailly on valentines day, i think if you still love him then just talk to him about finding another job, and as far as it goes with the teddy bear, tell him to exchange like he said he was going to do, and it might of been a matter of money, but i think there all the same price the day after anyway, hope i helped out a bit,

Make an eye patch for the bear, and forget about it.

I guess you can be glad (in a way) that he got you anything. Some women are complaining that their husbands/boyfriends didn't even wish them a happy day!

I know it's disappointing, but you can still love the bear. And your boyfriend!

Being 30 himself, I imagine you must be over 20..well you're not a child i guess. grow up! except the gift as it is. It's the thought that counts. I'd rather joke about it, let's say he got it at half price....he's probaly saving up for your birthday/christmas gift!
