in your case, type A personality. the workout is taking a lot of stress off of you. missing this creates overload=temper.

It's addictive in the sense that when you exercise your endorphines are increased (the chemical that makes you happy)...so when you stop exercising and your endorphines aren't as plentiful...you might seem irritable. A healthy addiction for the gym is ok...which you seem like you have...but there is a such thing as working out too much. Just start going again, you'll feel better.

When you exercise, some endorphins get released in the brain. So, lack of exercise causes the levles of endorphins to go down. Have you not heard of the runner's high? It is due to the release of the endorphins. So, unless you are doing some other work which is equally or more interesting, you will feel down.

Yes, I think it is.
But it's a healthy addiction, sure as hell beats smoking and ice cream eating. People who workout are generally healthier, happier and more energetic. So, stick with it!

When you exercise, your "happy" hormones (endorphins) are released. This explains why you often feel a bit down if you havn't been to gym in a while.

I think it is very addictive. for me its sort of like playing basketball, after a while i jsut have to play.

It can be. I honestly don't feel up to par if I miss workouts. My body feels more tired, sluggish, icky.
