The difference lies only in the way a person sees other people's beliefs. For instance, for some people Christianity is a superstition, because they don't believe in a Saviour who died and rose from the dead and went alive to heaven. For Christians, superstition will be almost every pagan religion practiced today, because they only believe that they have the truth.
For an atheist, all religions are superstitions, because they believe in nothing.
Isn't Religious Freedom a marvellous Right guaranteed by the Constitution? We can believe or not believe what ever we want and nobody can do anything about it.

Religious stigma IS superstition. Same principals... Symbolism, Ritual, and the belief in a negative reaction to an action...

Religion is an organized, cultural thing. Superstition is a group of irrational beliefs passed on from parent to child in a far less organized fashion. But I grant you they are very similar.

Religious belief is within the context of the bible. You are basing your belief solely on the word of God which is the bible while superstitions are belief from the olden days particularly from our forefathers who have not read the bible and their belief was base only from their own thinking of what may happen or what happen after.

Religious belief is "do unto other as you would have them do unto you", which is practical, sound advice that will help you be a better person.
Superstition is believing that throwing salt over your shoulder will cast off back luck if you spill the salt. It's not practical, not sound advice (you will look like you have dandruff if you do it enough) and won't make you a better person at all.
