i had braces and i happened to become popular in high school...it's fun!

Here is the thing. Your either going to look good or your not. In the likely chance you dont look good, all your friends will hate you. You will be a loner and probaly hang out with your mom a little more often then before. If you do look good then guess what? No one will care. And just a fair warning, braces hurt when they get tightened.

Don't stress over the braces!! It will be rewarding in the long run and they do make clear braces! If people don't like you because you have braces then their not a true friend!! Braces are not a disease. Relax!!

yes people will still like you I got my braces a week ago and nothing changed friend wise.
A bit of advice 1. be yourself 2. take headache meds. braces hurt

OMG.. once they stop hurting its FUN!!!!!! i just got them a month ago... people say i look older. its awesome to choose the colors and stuff. remember to take an advil before you go to the ortho. then it will have kicked in by the time they start hurting.
