No way! Most travellers are sensible enough to drink in moderation if they drink at all. No reason to take that amenity away from everyone just because a few people don't know how to control themselves.

No. People show up on flights way more impared than just drunk on too much Xanax or Ambien and things like that, that they may have taken double the dose of to get some sleep. A few drinks doesn't hurt anyone.

I don't see why not. I mean, why would anybody normal want to drink in an airplane? And alcoholics can just stay in detox until they are cured. In the meantime, they should not fly.
