Personally I think I should be able to cover anyone I want to on my health insurance. If I'm paying for it, I ought to be able to cover my Aunt Sally, my mom in Oregon and my next door neighbor in Tennessee. It's my money.

That would end the debate, wouldn't it?

If marriage is no longer defined as between one man and one woman, then it could be several spouses, or even animals. So we need laws for protection, not only here for moral reasons, but economic ones too.

Why do you think society owes you anything?
Or that others will pay for your lifestyle?
Pay your own way, hold your head up. Otherwise NO ONE will respect you. Anyone looking for a handout has a problem anyways.
