I agree! A straightener EVERY day, I'm surprised you don't have alot more than split ends!!!

Have you thought about, after you stop straightening ever day and condition your hair some, going to a professional and getting it permanently straightened? That way you won't have to do it every day. Your hair will be MUCH healthier. If you keep going the way you are, you could start having breakage and then baldness!!! You don't want that!

If you refuse to go get it done by a professional and want to keep doing it every day... YESSSSS get some kind of protector. BUT you hair will still suffer and only get worse!

I do too, but ever since i started to use the Tresseme Heat Protector it's been amazing. It makes your hair soft, not at all greasy, and spray a little extra towards your end and you'll be set! it's great trust me! If you just straighten your hair dry it will just make it even drier. Which lead to breakage and split ends.

Good Luck, hope it helps!

it's inexpensive too under $4

I had that problem a few months ago. Straighteners only make your hair drier and unhealthy. I got rid of the split ends by trimming my hair every 6 weeks. Trust me... i thought it would go shorter but rly its getting longer =) And straighten your hair not more than once a week! Hair treatment helps as well

You should get some straightner protection. They can be very harmful to you hair. You should also moisturize very well and get a hair cut for those split ends.

Leave your hair alone. Let it do what is natural. You are burning it up. Get a hair cut and get the split ends cut off. Use a good conditioner and quit trying to straighten it and burning it up. Soon you will be bald.

STOP STRAIGHTENING IT EVERY DAYYY!! Thats whats making your hair thin. I use to straighten my bangs every day now I have no bangs!! My front is very short now so I waiting the hair to grow back. Im sure youll be okay not straightening it. Try getting a damaged hair shampoo too..
