30 years ago I became very ill. My Dr. was an old country Doc, and since I had been battling ulcers since my early teens, he treated me for that. After 3 weeks and a 105 pound weight loss I was diagnosed as a Diabetic. During that period I would get these large bumps that would hurt like the devil and the gunk from them smelled horrible.

I am no Doc. I am a concerned diabetic. Early diagnosis is very important. WalMart sells an inexpensive blood glucose monitor. For about $40 you can get all you need to test your blood glucose levels. Normal would be somewhere between 80 and 120. Is less expensive than a visit to the old sawbones, and if it is normal you can always donate the meter to a clinic to help someone less fortunate.

I think you should get a second opinion from another doctor. Maybe you have an allergy to something.
