i understand it's hard for you not to eat chapatis because that's what all "Indian" foods are paired with, so this is what i do: i have a big bowl of cereal in the morning with skim milk, a fruit... at lunch you should eat and try 1 chapati but made out of whole wheat, during work try to keep moving i too have a desk job, but I'm constantly standing up and sitting down, when you drop something bend all the way down ( kinda like doing squats) drink alot of water, for snack have a fruit... salad... nuts.. protein/ energy bar. and finally for dinner ( try eating before 7pm) have something light but healthy like vegetable, definitely lay off the rich. Make sure you drink alot of water, and try to stay on the move, but some music on.. clean up.. small movements like that will add up.
Good luck!

To reduce weight only stop chapati in morning break fast. Instead of chapati take two to three pieces of carrot. I am computer professional. Setting on computer more than 10 hours a day. Taking my normal lunch and dinner (but I will not tell you quantity). In break fast I am taking only carrot and cucumber. Before half hour of my tea.
Best of Luck to reduce weight.

Your sedentary life style is the cause of your overweight. Your ideal weight for ur height is between 45 to 50Kgs. If you are above 53kgs the best u can do is take a health drink of natural supplements skipping a meal, forget fat inducing non veg foods for three months, take brisk walk for 30 minutes daily and avoid rice at night. If u r already exercising well n good. Continue this regime for three months. Best wishes

hi,
even i was having the same problem some days ago.but i got a very nice answer to this.that is, do your regular break fast, take your diet properly.avoid eating rice,if necessary then only take.wake a little early in the morning and do some exercise and meditation.as you are having a sitting job it will help you to maintain your health.don't prefer any gym or dieting.it will take your time and can cause any disorder in your health.try to eat less of non veg or junk food.
take it as a routine, and the most important thing is that at least take your important and regular diet.HONOUR YOUR HEALTH AND IT WILL HONOUR YOU.

You need to exercise. Even taking a walk every day and using the stairs instead of the elevator will help & make sure you do a full exercise routine on the weekends.
You should also be adding protein to your diet.
