Hi there, I wear contact lenses and no, my vision has not deterioriated any more then if I were to wear glasses. I just find that with my eyes, I am prone to dry eye and so even though I can wear contacts all day, I find by late afternoon I want to give my eyes a break and put the glasses on. Also, some days, especially if I am feeling under the weather, the thought of putting contacts in my eyes is just not happening! if you do decide to go with the contact route, don't throw away your glasses! Aslo, with contacts, they need to be "fitted" properly; some times it may take many different tries with different brands before you find a contact that is comfortable. And by comfortable I mean, you should not be able to tell or notice that you have them in except that you can now see clearly. Cheers.
