I have a young lady who is a server. She is good at it but she has a hugh problem in that she lies alot. It is hard to counsel her cause she closes up when someone gets too close. I have tried talking to her and got nowhere. I considered not letting her serve, but that is the one thing she really loves. I have spoken to a clergy member and he wants us to try to talk to her. i am afraid she will close up some more. What do i do?

I have found through time that if you show genuine love and persist at talking with someone that they will eventually open up. Don't force her but let he know there is someone around to talk to.

About 150 years ago some genius finally woke up and realized that the Creator YHVH set aside the Seventh day for rest and worship. Since it was inconvenient to obey, they said, well, you don't have to. Since the Messiah YAHOSHUA (They called Him "Jesus" in spite of the rule in Ex. 23:13 against using heathen names) obeyed, we don't have to. How dumb is that? If you are born again, and receive a new head (as in leader) do you really think it is reasonable to expect the Messiah in you (the hope of glory) to be inconsistent with the Messiah in Himself? Hey folks, this is NOT rocket science! That is why Churchianity is a heathen religion! Get out of Babylon, that you recieve not her plagues! (Rev 18:4)

Don't call her on it, just do something subtly like find a way to read her this scripture.

John 8:44
YOU are from YOUR father the Devil, and YOU wish to do the desires of YOUR father. That one was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of [the lie]

Maybe say to her that you were reading the Bible and found this, and that you were shocked to realise that when YOU (not her) lie, you are in fact doing Satan's will and not God's. Say that you never realised how important it is to alway's tell the truth.

She needs to straiten up and stop lieing so tell her that she is a sinner for lieing and she cant serve until she stops doing that. Why should she get to do what she loves when others are not sinning and are more worthy to serve? Thats not fair to other people who are honest and not liars. Liars are in the power of Satan and your supposed to keep people like that away from the saved.

here's a an old saying : sometimes your better off letting go. let her be just make sure people that are around her know that's she has a bad habit of lieing to people just go with the flow. talk to her as friends and don't push her to tell you her problems she'll tell you when she can trust you and when shes ready.

It's great that you are so caring for her but she is the one sinning and needs to pay the consequences. Don't let her serve. She will make all of you look bad. Now if she was coming to you saying, "I have this problem. I can't help lying please help me." that would be one thing. But she is in denial and that is her problem. If you reward her for it, your are enabling her. God bless from an older Christian.

Perhaps she lies to you and closes up to you because you keep trying to push your religious superstition on her.
