Lygeton Lad had his last run on 19th July 2006 at Lingfield. He finished tailed off and was promptly retired by his trainer.

He ran 81 times, winning 13 times. He took home over £100,000 for his owner and has fully earned his retirement.

He may still be with Gay Kelleway as a hack or he may have been sent off to the paddocks somewhere as a companion.
