Heaven and Hell is what we do to ourselves in the "here" and "now." Ultimately, what we do now will reaps their effect in the future. We may not suffer yet for the evils that we do, but retribution comes in the near future, maybe not in this lifetime but in the life beyond. Likewise, whatever good that we do brings "heaven" in the here and now, and likewise if we do not reap the fruits while we are still leaving, in the remote future, it will be... and may be not in our lifetime, but perhaps in the life beyond. It takes a leap of faith to believe. Faith is what we need to keep us moving in a world filled with evil and despair. Have faith!

A person so addicted has created their own Hell, however when they die they will be accepted by Heavenly Father at whatever level of acceptance they are able to tolerate. God may forgive them of all their faults becase He understands the challenges and the limitations of us all. We humans have only a shallow conception of the problems faced by others and have no right to judge if another should receive Heaven or Hell. True repentance requires a total change of heart. So to truly accept Christ and His lifestyle one must find a way to overcome the weaknesses of the body.

When a Christian continues to sin, he does not lose his salvation, but breaks fellowship with God. Our sins are forgiven , but we will have a sin nature until we reach Heaven. Some struggle more than others, obviously. The only sin that will send anyone to hell is that of refusing Jesus Christ , of rejecting Him. Continuing to live in sin is going to rob a person of the abundant life God intended for His children. If a truly born again believer continues in this rebellious life style, he is at risk of an untimely death. God may take him/her to Heaven prematurely rather than have His name defiled. This is not punishment, but protection, lest the person fall even more deeply into darkness. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. We manage too well to punish ourselves with guilt, regret, and shame. Let's pray this person will turn to the Lord for real power for living.

If you do drugs after you are saved and ask for forgiveness that is not a problem, in my humble opinion. After all, we are not perfect and God knows that we may falter along the way sometimes. Having said that, if you are fully aware of the consequences and continually do it with no remorse, it may be different but I still cannot say. I do not pass judgement on people, I leave that up to God.

A saved person would have no desire to do that. If you do that you are not saved and still living a heathen lifestyle. I am a born again Christian and the Holy Spirit works in me to convict me of anything that is sinful. I use to go to bars, drink, and all the things that heathens do, but since I have been saved I have no desire for that lifestyle anymore. The part about going to hell, I cannot answer because that is God's decision and I honestly don't know.

No, but if someone is a true Christ-follower and loves God - they want to turn from sin and intentionally sinning. We aren't perfect, and God does forgive us when we do sin. But you must be truly sorry and ask for forgiveness and ask for grace/self control not to sin intentionally again. God knows our true motives - you can't fool him. God won't send his children to hell, and He won't let us get away with sin while we are here - He loves us too much and His goal is to make us more Christ-like.

Let me ask you a question. If you are walking up a flight of stairs a trip and fall on the way up, what do you do? Do you get up and keep walking up, or go to the bottom and start over? A new christian is most likely going have a hard time overcoming problems, whatever they may be. You just have to pick yourself up, shake it loose, and keep on trying. It often takes a lot of prayer and self confidence and a build up of self control to overcome whatever the problem is. You just cannot give up....ever. If you give up on yourself, everyone else gives up. I believe if you are still alive, then God isn't finished with you yet.

you cannot go to heaven because you obey every single rule in the Bible. Jesus was clear about that. FAITH is what saves us. It is impossible to save ourselves, meaning to overcome sin on our own. A person will not be punished or go to Hell because they cannot overcome their addiction. But God can release one from drugs and he/she will have a happier life. They should keep on believing and don't quit trying. .

No they will not go to hell. It is a venial sin. Even if u do it again, but u are really sorry, and promise not to do it again, maybe god will forgive u. God knows that u are weak, u have stood up but u fall maybe once or twice, till u regain full balance. But don't make it a habit, and for christ's sake don't repeat the sin again and again and again.

I myself am a Muslim. Remember God is most forgiving no matter the worst of the sins and also remember only God can judge you no one else has the right to say where you will go.
