Generally speaking, two people should be able to carry a conversation on the same level. It's important if you want to be inspired by your significant other and keep yourself interested. But in love so many factors influence your feelings and intelligence is just one them. Another that comes to mind is kindness of heart. Plus when you're at the dating stage it's kind of difficult to understand how smart your date is. I've met people who appear a little daft, yet have the emotional intelligence of Dahlai Lama.

It depends on what the guy is looking for.
If he is looking for someone to be a companion that he can have an intelligent conversation with and can speak with him on a variety of subjects on the same level as him, he will look for a girl that can fit that.
If you see a smart guy with some ditzy, gigglebox that has no clue, he is just using his intelligence to get laid and move on.

Vey much so! I am more impressed by intelligence, than anything else. I LOVE a smart woman! You never get tired of exploring the wealth of knowledge a smart woman has! They intrigue you, and keep on doing so....very exciting!!

Of a truth, smart guys are giving to smarter girls, so that they too will be smarter. if you luck behind, you cant get smart either. go ahead and get smart people around you, but add knowledge and dont make it a fool history who think his smart. but dies in a foolish man;'s backyard

Absolutely. If the conversation ability isn't there, and we aren't connecting on a mental level, then it isn't going to last. Screwing like bunnies can be fun for a while, but you gotta have something behind it, or its going to get old.

it depends atleast by speaking or knowing some info on the particular person.
A person cant love just without any reason.there must be some affection then next comes the decision to speak or love

if i dated someone who was as smart as me they would be a complete nerd... nah kidding, but i do prefer someone whos on a similar intelligence level as me
