I would save the Atheist. The Christian is already going to Heaven.

Let me one up you Brendan. If my husband and you were dying and I could only save one of you, I'd save YOU. I know I will see my husband again in Heaven.

I want to say, I would save the Atheist...the Christian, I know would go home to our Heavenly Father...but the Atheist, without the knowledge of Christ...would go to hell...So...I would want to give him more time to realize that Christ is real and He longs for a personal relationship with them, so that they could be yet saved...Hell is eternal...and I wish that on no one...even Atheists...But the word says not to be a perspector of persons...so in the end...I would probably refuse to make a choice...it really is not my place to decide who should live and who should die...so I would probably abstain and more than likely bring on my own death....Be Blessed.

I being a christian would save one person and let the other person take my place. Through this show of love the atheist might see the love of Christ through me. This is the most important message or example christian can obtain.

Probablly the atheiest becasue if he died he would end up in hell. The christian if he died would end up in Heaven and if a had a choice I would let the christians go home peacfull, and save the atheist so you can tell them about God and Jesus and get them saved so they too can go to Heaven when they leave this earth.

I wouldn't make a choice based on their beliefs and if forced to make a choice on that basis I would let them both die.

Edit-Having read some of the subsequent answers I think I'd probably just kill the Christian and put him out of his misery- It can't be good going through life adhering to such perverse beliefs.

I would save the atheist, Because if he dies, he is going to hell, but if the Christian dies, he or she is going to Heaven. God will know why I saved the atheist, to give him another chance for salvation.

I think that would count on their personality, their family, a lot of things. If there was a young nurse with four kids who is an athiest or an old priest with no family then I guess I'd save the athiest.

Since you are blinded, did you ever consider, that a Christian would try to save them both and die in the process.
