I think it's because it makes them feel powerful to beat up a living being. They think it makes them look "tough and cool". When in reality, the are the scum of the earth! How pathetic it is when someone abuses something that is helpless! (don't get me started!!!!)

would you feel better if he kicked a real ugly dog? in nature all animals are cute so don't even go there. only the humans are guilty of such cruel inhumane treatment of animals that are really better then they are. they kill 100,000 horses every year and they starve them and don't give them water before they cruelly hang them up and cut their throats in the slaughter house..most are turned into horse meat for the European market and yes some is sold here in the states but its not as popular. But i know for a fact that if we are meat eaters in the US then we all have had a chance at having this meat in our diets. Its highly possible sooner or later.
But getting back to dogs..if they can do the same cruel treatment to baby boys and girls why would not a person or person do this to a "cute" dog?
A so called educated Filipino asked me " Uncle, is it true that a American would get mad at you if you kicked a squirrel?" and also I was in the same park and another Filipino looked at the ducks and geese and squirrels and commented..in the Philippines the people would have eaten these animals a long time ago!" duh..there are a lot of horror stories that even sicken me about dogs who while they are butchered for their meat or fur are licking the hands of the handlers while they are smiling and killing them slowly at the same time... maybe the world is ready to be absolved of this dismal humanity.

To be honest i'd have knocked him off his motorcycle and suggested did he prefer to kick me in the aspect too.... He for sure shouldnt have taken the canines for its walk that way if it grow to be no longer honest sufficient at the same time as also the canines not in any respect deserved that variety of treatment. kicking a canines isn't punishment, its a demonstration of poor possession. because the regulation is so leniant(cant spell) on puppy vendors that abuse their pets im particular that you need to do no more beneficial than divert his interest faraway from the canines the way you probably did and attempt to make him see how a lot of an fool he grow to be. on the plus aspect you've made a huge difference through telling him that it grow to be incorrect and regardless of if he doesnt substitute he will keep in suggestions what you suggested.... its an unusual occurance besides the undeniable fact that the suggestions has wierd approaches of reminding you of a few thing that has got here about once you've done some thing in the previous and each and every time you repeat that action thereafter....

I saw you emphasized the word "cute" with "really." So is it right to hit an ugly dog? If we should be nice to all animals, then the common people should also be nice to insects and millipedes (rather than stepping on them), and "creepy crawlies," and keep hyenas and vultures and tarsiers as domestic pets. ...which gets me thinking a whole lot of other questions I might not be able to word....(of course all this doesn't apply to everyone).

Sorry, off topic there, heh. (It's not that I hate dogs...I respect all animals/insects at a level -- I have a 15 week old Maltese) But based on your question, it can be hard to hear for some, but it happens all over the world. It's universally accepted that humans are of greater power than all other living beings.

They're sick. That's the only explanation I can think of.

We just had a snow storm, and on the news this morning was a woman who saw a man stop at the side of the road in the middle of it and throw a dog out onto the sidewalk, then take off. What the?! I'm not a member of PETA or anything but come ON. It is infuriating! No sense of compassion and I don't understand it.

Maybe you should post this question under "psychology" as well...

some people just dont appreciate the wildlife around them. they are selfish people who only know about humans......and think that other animals dont have feelings .it is believed that a oul takes the form of a human only if it does a good deed in his life before.
i can sware that man will not be a human in his next life. And next time, the dog will be in his shoes and he in the dogs........
that man doesnt deserve to be alive at this very moment.

I am not sure why anyone would display this sort of behaviour, but he possible had a mental disability if he kicked a really cute dog on purpose.

Some people are just mean there is no reasons for abuse of any kind yet it happens everyday, i think people should have to have licences to have animals aswell as children but since we all know that will never happen we have to keep asking ourselves these questions that will never proably answered the way we want them to!

Some people have some idea in their messed up minds that animals don't have feeling. They might be mad at someone or something in their life and feel like taking it out on something so they see a animal and think that it doesn't have feeling or doesn't care that it does cause it can't do anything to them. It's horrible but try to do something about it. Tell people not to touch their animals in a bad way, or tell someone like a parent who did it. It's called animal abuse.

Because they think that human life are more precious than a animal's life. If an animal gets beaten and abuse, no one really cares about it. They will just think, " Oh, what a poor little dog." and that's it. But, if a child was abuse, people will be angry and they will call the police and stuff like that.
