In response to Davo's comment; yes, doctors have brains but so do nurses. That's an unfair assumption to say that nurses are a lower species! My mom's a nurse and she's brilliant and just as capable. Maybe even better because of her exraordinary bedside manner (no dual meaning intended!). She just didn't have the resources to do the training and she had me very early on. What you're saying is true though; your doctor friend will probably have to find somebody equally high up the corporate ladder so that a man feels comfortable with her position. Your nurse friend will also have to watch it and be careful because she's probably very sweet and caring. There are wolves out there waiting to devour people like that. (shame). Whatever the result, I wish them luck.

Wow , not me. I think female doctors are huge turn ons! It's a combination of all the knowledge they have ( like, if she does this to that , this happens...) and the secret desire to be examined. It might just be me. I got pulled over by the hottest state trooper , and BOY were there some fantasies going through my head!
I kinda hoped I'd get strip searched...maybe cuffed....a little good cop, bad cop session with her and her equally hot partner...
Wow okay sorry about that.Tell your Doctor friend that at least one guy (probably tons ) find that really sexy. And as for your nurse friend,I think she just has picked the wrong guys. And tell the both of them that I am in desperate need of medical attention STAT. Code blue, code blue. One doctor, one nurse needed immediately.Code blue, bring lingerie...

Well. I've been married to a nurse. After that relationship ended, I dated two doctors. Nothing against either, but I eventually married a data-entry clerk with two kids. I was swayed by her children's need for a stable, responsible male influence in their lives, not by their mother's level of education or her salary. Maybe this added fact will monkey up your theorizing, or maybe not - because I'm a Registered Professional Nurse.

Nurse seems more caring than a doctor. Doctor seems like a smart-**** and a money maker. Nurse seems to have more intimacy for the patients.

men were intimidated by opposite sex with a very high
profile who is very competative
man were known to be a bread provider, head of the family
and the decision maker---macho man syndrome
to be a doctor you have to be intelligent, money to burn through the course and sheer determination
you can not be a doctor by luck you need tones of brain power
and doctor earns a good paycheck
men has to surpass this to be competative and remain
the leader of the clan
thats how man react when intimidated
i prefer your nurse friend is she cute???
