After the fall of Man there has NEVER been peace in this world and THERE WILL NEVER be again until Christ returns and wipes out sin forever.

"Numbers 6:26, the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace".
"Isaiah 9:6, For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace".
"John 14:27, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives".
Nothing or no one gives peace but God. You may love yourself so much and then one day you don't the next day? Do you have peace? No. You may love the others today and hate someone tomorrow cause they did something so bad that they just made you mad, or for example if you're a woman and someone raped you, or if you're male/female a person came and robbed your house and also killed someone while doing that, will you still have love for that person, will you still have peace? No.
Peace comes from God, how do you get it from him, by being his child and living a pleasing life, pleasing to him.

Knowing ones self one knows all, peace can not be brought in, as peace and joy is all that is, all else is false.

You are not going to find peace in anything else. Loving God is loving yourself and others.
