I wouldn't say they're competing, because God/Allah listens to everyone's prayers, regardless of their religion. I mean, if there's enough good to go around, God/Allah provides, right? More than provides.
Yes you are right, God is Allah and Allah is God. God is an English word, and Allah is an Arabic word. They are two words in different languages that mean the same thing.
I wish people wouldn't let language trip them up.

Allah is just how you say God in Arabic. Yes it is the same. Muslims believe in the same God that everyone else does. The differance in our religion is not that of God but other things within the religion.

The word Allah is just the arabic word for God. To be God is Allah and Allah is God. Now maybe Christians can claim they have a different God, but I mean there is only One God.

Allah is obviously no longer the actual God, who the can appropriate be referred to as Yahwe or Christ. look into the instructions of the Bible and then look into the instructions of the Quran. of course an identical god ought to no longer have inspired the two books. Muslims will attempt to conceal the character of the Quran, yet I truthfully have got here across that that's continually a e book of militaristic hatred in direction of different. have you ever observed that jointly as Christianity did maximum of its spreading under Roman persecution, jointly as Islam unfold under Mohammed's and his follower's armies? to boot, IF Jesus became right into an insignificant prophet as you assert, then why became into he no longer stoned for blasphemy? "i'm the way, the reality, and the existence. no person includes the daddy different than by me." is a blasphemous declare, as are a lot of His others.

Allah is the arabic word for God. There is only one God. We, muslims, believe that Jesus is dead as a prophet, and not son of God.
