John Becker...please take a lesson....for all guys and NOT answer a question about a girl's period. Also, you're information is incorrect, moron. Some girls only have 3 day periods and that's completely normal. A week is average...but it's not the bar that must be met. Now go to the men's health and ask what you can do about your stupidity.

I am a guy and I have had girlfriends.

This is called an 'abnormal period'.

You can't prepare for it and you won't know how long it will last or go away.

There isn't something wrong with your health, just the way you are born.

Sometimes if you lose more than usually blood you will want to get it checked out.

I wouldnt be complaining - no there is nothing wrong with you, everybody is different, and sometime in your life your period might go for a bit longer or a bit less - it is all normal and nothing to be worried about. I would be thankfull for a 3 - 4 day period - you lucky thing!
