I'm having trouble losing the baby weight. Maybe it's because I"m now 31? My baby is eight months old. I seem stuck. No matter what I eat or dont' eat the scale won't budge. I exercise at least half an hour per day. What do I do?

I'd suggest counting your calories. It's the only way to know for certain what is going on. Count all the calories you burn, then all the ones you eat. Depending on your activity level, you may be eating too much of the wrong foods, or even not enough and your body is in starvation mode.

You should be eating at least 1200 calories per day, and if you are burning a couple hundred calories daily, this number probably needs to be higher. Of course, if it is too high, you won't lose weight either. For now, figure out your baseline, then figure out your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), and then you will be in a position to figure out what to do.

ok what my wife did, she ballooned up to about 260 right, after we had our daughter, she was having trouble getting the weight off. well she ordered these work out videos(excellent for when your baby is sleep) called TURBO JAM....she also did some tae-bo. she did this every single day, go on walks, they also give you guidance on getting on the right diet. journals to keep track of. get some ankle weights to walk around the house. she kept active but you have to have the mind set for change, no cheating. so in a little more than a year and a half she has lost over 90lb and still going. there have been times where she had to stop and stuff, or she cant do it because our daughter is sick, BUT....she will then get back on there, sort of like a phase thing, and start losing weight again. try that out and see how you do. good luck!!
