I don't see how voicing your unpopular prejudice is godly. I know a lot of people who are very selective about which sins they decry. In fact, most Christians (and I am one, so I'm not bashing Christianity) seem a lot more concerned about what not to do rather than what to do. Just because someone has a distaste for something that coincidentally agrees with scripture doesn't make them brave (he did backpedal, don't forget) or godly.

There is no doubt that truly standing for righteousness is not popular in todays sinful world. However being unpopular for your beliefs is not necessarily righteousness. YHVH is proud of people who choose to do right, and display courage in so doing.
