There isn't a whole lot you can do, directly, to just make bad dreams disappear, unfortunately, your dreams are sort of in control of themselves, carrying you along as a sometimes unwilling passenger. You see, your dreams are your subconscious' way of blowing off steam, of letting your waking consciousness know what is really lying back there in the deep folds of your mind.
Many things can cause bad dreams, and reducing these factors are the best chance of getting rid of them. If you've moved recently, a feeling of insecurity or of being unsure in a new place can cause Bad dreams, but they should subside fairly quickly.
Then there are the more critical factors; Deep buried Insecutiry and fear. Keeping deep secrets or being in deep denial can have a negative strain on your psyche, and your subconscious lets you know it through your dreams.
Try reducing stress in your life as much as possible. Confronting and resolving your deep personal problems, the ones you tell few or no people about, can really clean that lingering mental junk from your psyche and put your mind in an overall healthier state.
Remember this, a more positive, confident mind is a breeding ground for more positive dreams. But a more negative, doubtful mind can be a breeding ground for negative, or "Bad" dreams.

I used to suffer from nightmares a lot, especially as a child. I would often wake up screaming loudly. I learned of a technique that I use. When I sleep and began to dream, I become aware of the fact that I am dreaming and I say to myself, I am going to make this a better dream. I don't know how I do it, but my conscious mind kicks in and I can change the dream from something threatening to something totally harmless. If that doesn't work, I hold my breath until I wake up. I hope this is helpful to you.

you should just not eat anything after 7 o clock (pm)
and do not watch any horrer movies or serials
and also while you go yo sleep firstly you should take the name of any god and then go to sleep
and also after this you do not get sleep then speak anof the sanskrit slok many times then you will surely get good sleep and you would also will not get and BAD DREAMS..
this is a full proof idea given by me
and it has worked with me and also with my friends..

dreams all have a meaning, so look them up in a dream dictionary (they can be found on internet sites, but i recommend buying one) figure out what your subconscience is trying to tell you, and solve the problem. the dreams will fade if all the problems are solved....hopefully

Pray to God to ask for peace, and rebuke the bad dreams, and continue to ask for positive/good dreams before you go to sleep.
If you don't believe in God, I don't know what else to tell you, cuz this is all i kno, other than reading the bible.

Dreams come from within, you talk to yourself when you dream, you need to fix your own head and you'll be fine. Easy enough, right?
