I only want to use semi-permanent hair dye to add some gloss, i've already tried mahogany colours and i'm bored of that, any suggestions?

try chocolate brown it sounds dull but it looks really nice. its not those dull shades of brown it really looks good

I tried a lighter golden brown and it turned out really nice, and my hair is very very dark brown naturally, but the lighteners in the hair dye were sufficient to lighten my nearly black hair with really stunning results!

My daughter has dark chestnut hair and she tried Auburn. It looks really nice and very shiny.

You could try a cool/ash brown, it is very in right now.

why dont you trydarkish brown with red highlights

try the new glossy ones from loreal they take really well
